4HoursSleep

Postby joiv » July 31st, 2007, 9:53 pm

Wow, it worked. At first nothing seemed to be close to working. I started [b:f1b78466c2]intensive therapy[/b:f1b78466c2] to make myself more susceptible and suggestible on monday. And today, wednesday, one file worked successfully. I went to bed some time after 00:30 yesterday and started listening to 4HoursSleep. I woke up 55 minutes ago, 5:00 (am ;)). It was just like being waked up by axbo (axbo.com). I think perhaps my pulse might have been a little bit higher than normal resting pulse, but I didn't actually get to measure it properly before I got to excited. I am glad I finally had success with one of the files. Thanks!

I guess SuperHumanMind must be next. 8)

I agree with iamastretchypanda:
[quote:f1b78466c2="iamstretchypanda"]k it works great and all... but when i wake up... i just fall back to sleep (kinda like after i sleep for 8-10 hours... i just feel like rolling over and dreaming some more).

Ahh... the irony is great.[/quote:f1b78466c2]

I didn't fall back to sleep, but I definitely felt the urge. This can perhaps be fixed by making some improvements to the script?

Note to everyone new to hypnosis: I haven't had success with any other files I have tried so far. (mostly ItchingFoot and TickleTorture)

I'll rate 4HoursSleep 4 or 5! :)

Congrats! What files did you use to make yourself more susceptible and suggestible. I would like to try them myself :].
'Saying Java is nice because it works on all OS's is like saying that anal sex is nice because it works on all genders.'

'Mary had a little lamb, the doctor was surprised. When Old McDonald had a farm, the poor guy nearly died.'

Thanks! I listened to these files:
[quote:e880ec4952="joiv"]# File name
5 Accelerator
1 ConfusionInduction
2 Deep Trance (Carsten)
2 Deepening
2 Deepening2
1 ResistInduction
1 Suggestible (Carsten)
4 Suggestible
3 SuggestiveTranceTrigger
2 TrainSleepReinforce
2 TrainSusceptable
[/quote:e880ec4952]
After I made this list, before I had success with 4HoursSleep, I listened to SuggestiveTranceTrigger many times while awake. I often spend some hours in front of the computer a day, so rather than listening to music I just let that file loop. I have listened to it sometimes after. Anyway, now the [b:e880ec4952]playcount is 19[/b:e880ec4952].

I didn't really try hard with Carsten's files, because there are fewer of them and I prefer HypnoEMGs standard inductions. They help me go into deep trance every time now.

The ResistInduction was of no use either. Nor the ConfusionInduction.

I guess the files that did the trick must have been [b:e880ec4952]Deepening[/b:e880ec4952] (1 or 2 - it's probably not any point in listening to both of them), [b:e880ec4952]SuggestiveTranceTrigger[/b:e880ec4952] and [b:e880ec4952]Suggestible[/b:e880ec4952]. I also like TrainSleepReinforce, but that's mostly because the induction used there really make me relaxed.

Even thought I had success with listening to a lot of different files, according to what I have read, it's often better to concentrate on a few. However, it's probably good to try out many different inductions to find one that is really good.

I have changed my mind in regard to SuperHumanMind. I see that not many have had success with that file. I think I'll try Lucid Dreaming or Astral Travel. I've always wanted to try astral projection.

4hour sleep is one that's in my nightly rotation right now. With a 2 month old kid in the room, waking up every couple hours to feed, this one's a godsend :D
